How do hoverboards work?
They are better known as self-balancing scooters or self-balancing boards. They function much like mini-swegway/seg way except that everything is controlled by legs, feet and torso rather than handlebars.

Are hoverboards safe?
All our hoverboards are safe and have been quality tested and verified. Unfortunately lot of suppliers who claims to use the genuine Samsung batteries but most of those include fake Samsung batteries. We use Genuine Samsung, LG or SANYO batteries in all our hoverboards.

Do hoverboard still catch fire?
In 2015 lot of hoverboard were catching fire and exploding. This gave the bad press to the hoverboards and many retailers refused the hold the certain brands. The main problem was commonly fake and cheap batteries and counterfeit models with poor electronics.

All our hoverboards are safe to use and quality tested and uses UK compliant BS1363 Standard Charger and Plug. 

Are hoverboards legal to use in the UK?
Hoverboards are legal to use in the UK – except that they are not allowed to use in certain areas. It is currently illegal to ride a hover board on public roads and on pavements. However on private properties and in many parks around the country hoverboards are perfectly legal.

How long does it take to charge your hoverboard and how long does the battery last?
Our hoverboards are fully charged in 2 hours and battery lasts for 6 hours before you need to charge the battery again.

Do you ship internationally?
No, unfortunately due to the restrictions by many Airlines Shipping Lithium-Ion Batteries we do not ship internationally at the moment.

How long will delivery take?
Our standard delivery takes 1-2 days however it can vary during the busier period i.e. Black Friday, Christmas.

Which couriers do you use?

We normally uses DX Delivery and UK Mail however these can change at any time and may vary during the busiest period.

Can I track my order?
Yes you can track your order if you have signed-up an account while ordering or you will receive an email once your order is dispatched.

How do i re-calibrate my swegway?
Swegwaysneeds recalibrating on a regular basis. This can be done easily and resolve most of the problems you experience.

Step 1 - Put the swegwayfor charging for at least 2 hours and make sure its fully charged.

Step 2- Turn off the swegway and make sure both the sides of the boards are at the same level.

Step 3 -Press the power button for 15 seconds, the LED lights should start to flash in sequence, let it happen for 30 seconds.

Step 4 - Turn off the swegway.

Step 5 - Turn your swegway back on and it should be restored to the factory settings.

What is your return policy?
If you are unhappy with the product for some reason you can return it within 14 days however the item should be returned undamaged and in its original condition. There will be collection fee of £30.

Doi receive an invoice for my order?

After successful completion of your order you will receive an invoice via email to the email address you mentioned at the time of ordering. We never send an invoice with your shipment.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment via PAYPAL and you don’t need to have a PayPal account you can pay uisng your Credit / Debit Cards as well.
